Presentation of the faculty


The Faculty of Philology and Pedagogy is an educational, scientific and cultural center of the university, it prepares specialists for a new formation, who owns Eurasian multiculturalism, communicative skills and highly professionalism. The training of modern specialists is carried out by 102 full-time teachers and 15 part-time workers. There are 5 doctors of sciences, 32 candidates of science, 65 masters of philology (English, Russian, Kazakh philology) or pedagogical sciences, humanities, education, pedagogy and psychology and social work at the faculty. From the number of academic staff, 12 teachers are holders of the state grant "The Best Teacher of the University" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2 teachers are holders of the title "The Best teacher of Sh. Ualikhanov KSU, 2 teachers were awarded the title" The Best young teacher of Sh. Ualikhanov KSU. In the framework of "Bolashak" program 11 teachers have passed an internship in Poland, the United States, in the UK (Brunel University) .The faculty closely works with foreign universities. It gives an opportunity for professional development and exchange of experience: Turkey (Antalya), University of World Languages in Uzbekistan, Bashkir-Russian University. B. Yeltsin, PFUR, LPU (Russia), Warsaw University, Institute of Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg), RSPU (St. Petersburg), N.Dobrolyubov Linguistic University., Marmara University (Turkey), L.Gumilyov ENU, Szeged University of Science (Hungary), Omsk State University, Tobolsky Ped. Institute. Faculty staff annually passes foreign scientific internships: Ph.D., Acad. prof. Zhakhina B.B. -Poznan (Poland, 2014); prof. Stukalenko N.M. - Herzen University (St. Petersburg), the Middle East University of Northern Cyprus (Cyprus, Nicosia); candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Baymanova L.S. - Göttingen University (Germany, 2014); Aipova D.G., Shulembaeva K.M., Nauryzbekova A.Zh. (Omsk, Omsk Humanitarian Academy, 2013); Dalbergenova L.E. -Potsdam University (Germany, 2014).
